CuFe finds new drill targets at North Dam lithium and REE project

Special Report: Mapping and rock chip sampling at CuFe’s North Dam lithium and Rare Earth Elements (REE) project in WA has defined drill targets for testing in Q2 2024.

The project lies within the heart of the ‘lithium corridor’ between Mineral Resources’ (ASX:MIN) Mt Marion lithium mine and Essential Metals’ (ASX:ESS)/Develop’s (ASX:DVP) Pioneer Dome lithium project.

Rock chip sampling has now confirmed the majority of pegmatites trend northwest and outcropping pegmatites range from 10-450m in strike length and from 1-30m in width.

CUF has 1.4Mt of reserved capacity at Geraldton Port under its agreement with Fenix Resources.

CuFe says North Dam has potential for variety of future-facing minerals

CuFe Ltd (ASX:CUF) executive director Mark Hancock tells Proactive the company has delivered significant initial rare earth elements, niobium and lithium rock chip samples during early-stage exploration at its North Dam Project in Western Australia. The project, which hosts numerous pegmatites ranging in thickness, is just 29 kilometres south of Mineral Resources’ Mt Marion Mine and 50 kilometres SSE of Coolgardie. First-pass investigations at North Dam have included general reconnaissance, outcrop mapping and rock chip sampling, with a significant area across the tenement yet to be covered.
